Just back from a 4 day break, place is stunning, there is a club house, a little shop, and only a 5 min drive from moffat centre. There was a burst pipe on our last day but the lovely lady at the reception gave us water but it was sorted in no time. Didn't get the ladies name but she could not do enough for us, she was so lovely thank you. We will be back x
Had the best stay ever with my granddaughter. Some lovely walks around the lake to feed the ducks and see the horses. The weather wasn't the best but with wellies and a warm coat we had the best time. The caravan was beautiful, we were upgraded to a stunning 8 berth with large kitchen and two bathrooms. Staff are lovely. The park was closed but we made our own fun in the puddles in the potholes and boat races in the stream that ran beside our caravan. A beautiful place to visit will definitely be back
Maffatt manor is a fantastic property to stay at. The quality of the house is outstanding. We stayed for the second time as a group of 10 for three nights. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are great. The cinema room and pool make for a fantastic stay. If you stay please experience the grand dining room and of course the outside hot tub which is lovely to sit in whilst looking over the garden. And a special thank you to the owners who are absolutely lovely.

An absolutely amazing venue. The hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for a large group. lots to do like chess, pool, hot tub, cinema room, putting green & extensive grounds to explore. We all want to return.
It’s was an extremely clean hub to hike and explore the area, but its lake hasn’t been cleaned to deal with the mass of biting midges or use of its waters. However the couple that own the park remind me of “life in the chateau” a driven, happy and trying to make their place heaven on earth.
We camp here for 2 days and the whole experience was amazing. Our first time experience in this place. We are a family of 2 adults, 3 children's and one dog and we found this place amazing for camping. We met a very friendly staff, great maintained pitches and surroundings, lots of vegetation, green fields, trees, lakes etc. Only 5 minutes walk you can have a delicious meal in the local restaurant "The Old Stables Inn Beattock".
